AccSys Technology, Inc. Selects Engineering Manager
Pleasanton, CA - December 2, 1997
AccSys Technology, Inc. announced today that Mr. David V. Turnquist has been selected
to fill the position of Engineering Manager. The announcement was made by AccSys'
President and CEO, Dr. Robert W. Hamm.
Mr. Turnquist has a solid history of engineering and manufacturing management in the
pulsed power equipment business. At AccSys he will direct the company's engineering and
development efforts, as well as direct the field service and installation group.
"We see David's selection as Engineering Manager as a final step in the establishment
of a management team at AccSys to provide quality products to the medical, research
and industrial markets served by the company," commented Dr. Hamm. "His extensive
experience in the design, development and production of commercial rf systems and
components will strengthen the company's technical expertise and broaden the technology
base available to support both the present and future products."
Mr. Turnquist, formerly the Special Projects Director at Litton Electron Devices Division
in Williamsport, PA, has more than 35 years of experience in the field of pulsed power
equipment. This includes a 20 year career at EG&G Incorporated, 12 years of which he
served as a product manager, and 11 years as President of Impulse Engineering, Inc., a
small company that provided rf systems and components for a number of large accelerator
facilities.
