AccSys Technology, Inc. Selects PULSAR® Product Manager
Pleasanton, CA - February 17, 2003
Dr. Robert W. Hamm, President and CEO of AccSys Technology, Inc. announced
today that the company has selected Russell Price to fill the position of
Product Manager for its PULSAR® product line. PULSAR® systems
represent the next generation of equipment for the production of positron
radiotracers, which are used in medicine for research and diagnostic imaging.
Mr. Price has a solid history of applications management in the PET business
with 12 years of experience at CTI. At AccSys he will direct the company's
efforts in the sales and marketing of this product line, as well as direct the
field service and installation group in this business.
"We see Russ' selection as Product Manager as a final step in the establishment
of a management team at AccSys to provide quality products to the medical, research
and industrial markets served by the company," commented Dr. Hamm. "His extensive
experience in the design, development and production of commercial rf systems and
components will strengthen the company's technical expertise and broaden the technology
base available to support both the present and future products."
Mr. Price, formerly at CTI in Knoxville, TN has more than 12 years of experience
in the field of PET radionuclide production equipment. This includes 4 year career
as service manager and 7 years as a service representative for PET cyclotron facilities.
AccSys Technology is the world's leading commercial producer of rf ion linacs. The
Company was founded in 1985 to commercialize advanced radiofrequency (rf) ion linac
technology for applications in medicine, industry and research, with emphasis on developing
an innovative system for producing the short-lived radiotracers used in medical positron
